Created in September 2017, Un Cadre Pour l'Enfant (UCPE) is a non-profit association aiming to contribute to the development and well-being of children in developing countries.
It all started with a group of friends who saw themselves as fortunate to have had choice in their educational and career paths, and wondered how they could help young children so that they too would have choices as well. Read More
Our Projects
Un Cadre Pour l'Enfant develops long-term missions with the objective of creating local branches that will maintain our different projects. Our first mission is in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Two projects are underway in the city of Matadi, in the Central Kongo region.
"Kuenda Classe" means "going to school". This is the first project of the association.
This first act responds directly to our objective of facilitating access to education in developing countries, and reflects our fields of action: education, environment and hygiene, and art.
"Nzo Ya Mayele" means "The House of Knowledge". This project consists of the construction of a library for all Matadians.
The library is the next step to further improve the structures related to access to knowledge and education.
We have annual sponsorship campaigns for children to encourage them and give them the means to continue their education.
During the 2018-2019 year, more than 80 children had the opportunity to be sponsored and thus to continue their school year.
